This course is tailored to familiarize educators with Open Educational Resources (OER), covering both the fundamentals of identifying and utilizing these free educational materials and more advanced skills such as customization and personalization. Participants will focus on discerning when to employ OER, finding high-quality OER materials, and adapting them to create new resources that align with student needs. During the course, participants will develop a course map, identify any gaps in resources, collaborate with peers to share knowledge and insights, and reflect on their learning experience. By the course's conclusion, participants will have created a practical project that they can implement right away.
This course is worth 15 PD clock hours or 1 graduate-level credit.
