In this course, participants will thoroughly explore the strategies and resources necessary to effectively implement TESOL practices. The course content delves into the intricacies of ELL learning processes, international scales and descriptors, guiding participants from the initial planning stages through to assessment. It also offers an in-depth examination of strategies and instructional concepts for enhancing the four key communicative language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Furthermore, participants will have access to a carefully curated collection of resources and strategies that ELL teachers can readily adapt, adopt, and integrate into their classrooms.
This course is worth 30 PD clock hours or 2 graduate-level credits.
