This course provides participants with an in-depth exploration of three distinct types of student engagement: emotional/relational, behavioral, and cognitive. All three forms of engagement work together to foster positive student progress and achievement. The course covers specialized approaches for each type of engagement, particularly tailored to benefit English Language Learners (ELLs). The content aims to enhance participants' understanding, equip them with practical tools for implementation, and prepare them for monitoring progress in ELL and other learning environments related to each engagement type.
