This course provides a holistic exploration of behavioral health integration in educational settings. The transformative curriculum empowers educators to seamlessly integrate behavioral health principles, cultural awareness, and legal considerations into their teaching practices, fostering an inclusive and supportive educational experience for every student, regardless of their abilities. Addressing trauma- and evidence-informed instruction and the importance of social-emotional well-being in the classroom, this course also meets the Special Education and Behavioral Health Licensure Renewal Requirements for Colorado educators "seeking to renew any teacher, special service provider, principal and/or administrator professional license that expires on or after June 30, 2025."
This course is worth 15 PD clock hours or 1 graduate-level credit.
